# Pedometer vs Pedometer Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Pedometer Pro at 5.0 against Pedometer's 3.8. Pedometer Pro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Pedometer's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pedometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Pedometer Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pedometer Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pedometer has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
