# FileDrop vs Web Modifier

The clearest difference is update cadence: Web Modifier at daily against FileDrop's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FileDrop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Web Modifier sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FileDrop ships an update every 2 weeks, Web Modifier daily. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
