# Index vs Diaryx

The clearest difference is update cadence: Diaryx at every 2 days against Index's monthly. Index's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Index sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Diaryx sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Index ships an update monthly, Diaryx every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
