# Backtask vs WeekSpark

The clearest difference is device support: Backtask at 3 against WeekSpark's 1. WeekSpark's advantage is iOS requirement (16.4 vs 26.5). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backtask sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year and WeekSpark sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
