# Hopday vs ATV Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: Hopday at free against ATV Connect's free with in-app purchases. Hopday also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hopday sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and ATV Connect sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hopday ships an update weekly, ATV Connect every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
