# Pools vs Bracket Maker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pools at every 2 weeks against Bracket Maker's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bracket Maker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pools ships an update every 2 weeks, Bracket Maker every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
