# Rota vs OmyShift

The clearest difference is update cadence: OmyShift at every 2 days against Rota's weekly. Rota's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rota sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and OmyShift sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rota ships an update weekly, OmyShift every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
