# StepHive vs StepKeep

The clearest difference is update cadence: StepKeep at every 6 days against StepHive's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepHive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and StepKeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepHive ships an update fortnightly, StepKeep every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
