# BolTimer vs RaceCue

The clearest difference is update cadence: BolTimer at every 2 days against RaceCue's every 6 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BolTimer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and RaceCue sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BolTimer ships an update every 2 days, RaceCue every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
