# Heartly vs BloomStep

The clearest difference is update cadence: BloomStep at every 4 days against Heartly's every 2 months. BloomStep also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Heartly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and BloomStep sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Heartly ships an update every 2 months, BloomStep every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
