# iSub Player vs Bref Player

The clearest difference is ads: Bref Player at none against iSub Player's shown. Bref Player also leads on update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and device support (5 vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iSub Player sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Bref Player sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iSub Player ships an update fortnightly, Bref Player daily. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
