# CanTree vs ConTavern

The clearest difference is update cadence: ConTavern at weekly against CanTree's monthly. CanTree's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CanTree sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and ConTavern sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CanTree ships an update monthly, ConTavern weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
