# sing vs hideip.net

The clearest difference is rating: sing at 4.6 against hideip.net's 4.0. sing also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (149 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. hideip.net sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. sing asks for nothing beyond the download.

sing holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: sing has 149 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of sing's written reviews are positive against 100% of hideip.net's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

sing ships an update every 2 weeks, hideip.net every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
