# Tickly vs Friend Kit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Friend Kit at every 3 days against Tickly's every 2 months. Friend Kit also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tickly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Friend Kit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tickly ships an update every 2 months, Friend Kit every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
