# TXT sampler vs Foundry

The clearest difference is ads: TXT sampler at none against Foundry's shown. Foundry's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TXT sampler sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Foundry sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TXT sampler ships an update every 9 days, Foundry every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
