# iMail vs Postfach

The clearest difference is update cadence: Postfach at daily against iMail's every 3 weeks. iMail's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iMail sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Postfach sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

iMail ships an update every 3 weeks, Postfach daily. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
