# Security+ Prep vs DP

The clearest difference is update cadence: Security+ Prep at weekly against DP's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Security+ Prep sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DP sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Security+ Prep ships an update weekly, DP every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
