# PicPit vs SkyGolf

The clearest difference is rating: SkyGolf at 4.9 against PicPit's 3.9. SkyGolf also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). PicPit's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PicPit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SkyGolf sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SkyGolf holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SkyGolf has 87 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 83% of PicPit's written reviews are positive against 100% of SkyGolf's.

PicPit ships an update every 9 days, SkyGolf every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
