# Folio vs Selcouth

The clearest difference is update cadence: Selcouth at every 4 days against Folio's every 9 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Folio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Selcouth sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Folio ships an update every 9 days, Selcouth every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
