# Steady vs Ouro

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ouro at 100% against Steady's 33%. Ouro also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). Steady's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Steady sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and Ouro sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ouro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steady has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Steady's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ouro's.

Steady ships an update every 5 days, Ouro every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
