# TickDay vs Dayception

The clearest difference is update cadence: TickDay at every 5 days against Dayception's every 2 weeks. TickDay also leads on iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TickDay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dayception sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TickDay ships an update every 5 days, Dayception every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
