# MangaFuru vs Longbox

The clearest difference is update cadence: Longbox at every 3 days against MangaFuru's weekly. Longbox also leads on iOS requirement (15.5 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MangaFuru sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Longbox sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MangaFuru ships an update weekly, Longbox every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
