# ShredMax vs AbsCheck

The clearest difference is update cadence: ShredMax at every 3 days against AbsCheck's every 3 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ShredMax sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and AbsCheck sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ShredMax ships an update every 3 days, AbsCheck every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
