# Sand Drop vs Avoduko

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Avoduko at 100% against Sand Drop's 45%. Avoduko also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days). Sand Drop's advantage is ratings volume (560 vs 7) and chart position (#97 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sand Drop sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Avoduko sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Avoduko holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sand Drop has 560 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 45% of Sand Drop's written reviews are positive against 100% of Avoduko's.

Sand Drop ships an update every 10 days, Avoduko every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
