# Nurtara vs Tide

Nurtara and Tide both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Nurtara's written reviews are positive against 52% of Tide's. Nurtara also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Tide's advantage is ratings volume (332 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nurtara sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Tide sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Nurtara against 4.9 for Tide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tide has 332 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Nurtara ships an update every 6 days, Tide every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
