# Resecta vs Redact Zero

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Resecta at none against Redact Zero's 3. Resecta also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Redact Zero's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Redact Zero sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Resecta asks for nothing beyond the download.

Resecta holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Redact Zero has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resecta ships an update monthly, Redact Zero every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
