# Paparoti vs Melodict

The clearest difference is update cadence: Melodict at every 5 days against Paparoti's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paparoti sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Melodict sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Paparoti ships an update every 2 weeks, Melodict every 5 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
