# Gloam vs Step Step

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Gloam at 18.0 against Step Step's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gloam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Step Step sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
