# ClickPen vs Prova

The clearest difference is ads: ClickPen at none against Prova's shown. ClickPen also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ClickPen sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Prova sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ClickPen ships an update weekly, Prova every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
