# Vane vs GoFly

The clearest difference is update cadence: GoFly at weekly against Vane's fortnightly. Vane's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vane sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and GoFly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vane ships an update fortnightly, GoFly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
