# Depth. vs DiveDrop

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Depth. at none against DiveDrop's 1. DiveDrop's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DiveDrop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Depth. asks for nothing beyond the download.

Depth. ships an update every 5 weeks, DiveDrop every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
