# SoberUp vs StepMaxx Pedometer

The clearest difference is ads: SoberUp at none against StepMaxx Pedometer's shown. SoberUp also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SoberUp sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and StepMaxx Pedometer sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
