# Sunset Mania vs ArchCam

The clearest difference is rating: ArchCam at 5.0 against Sunset Mania's 1.0. ArchCam also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). Sunset Mania's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sunset Mania sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $12.99 per year and ArchCam sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ArchCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ArchCam has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sunset Mania ships an update every 4 days, ArchCam every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
