# SubSense vs InkNote

The clearest difference is ads: SubSense at none against InkNote's shown. InkNote's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubSense sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and InkNote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SubSense ships an update fortnightly, InkNote every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
