# Span vs Time Tracker

The clearest difference is ads: Span at none against Time Tracker's shown. Time Tracker's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Span sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Time Tracker sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Span ships an update every 10 days, Time Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
