# ChapterWing vs Metro Novel

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ChapterWing at none against Metro Novel's 3. Metro Novel's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Metro Novel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. ChapterWing asks for nothing beyond the download.

ChapterWing ships an update fortnightly, Metro Novel every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
