# HoloPets vs Islo

The clearest difference is ads: Islo at none against HoloPets's shown. Islo also leads on iOS requirement (17.2 vs 26.0). HoloPets's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HoloPets sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Islo sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HoloPets ships an update weekly, Islo every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
