# Shared Timer vs Kairotique

The clearest difference is ads: Shared Timer at none against Kairotique's shown. Kairotique's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shared Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Kairotique sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shared Timer ships an update fortnightly, Kairotique daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
