# Wren vs First Fork

The clearest difference is update cadence: First Fork at every 5 days against Wren's fortnightly. Wren's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wren sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and First Fork sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wren ships an update fortnightly, First Fork every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
