# FoundMe vs Lock Screen Text

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FoundMe at none against Lock Screen Text's 1. Lock Screen Text's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Text sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FoundMe asks for nothing beyond the download.

FoundMe ships an update every 3 weeks, Lock Screen Text every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
