# Overprint vs IrisFold

The clearest difference is update cadence: Overprint at every 6 days against IrisFold's every 6 weeks. IrisFold's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Overprint sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IrisFold sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Overprint ships an update every 6 days, IrisFold every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
