# ReefNote vs Recif

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Recif at 16.4 against ReefNote's 18.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ReefNote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Recif sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $20.00 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
