# Magnet vs Fridge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Magnet at every 4 days against Fridge's every 10 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnet sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Fridge sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnet ships an update every 4 days, Fridge every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
