# Lister vs Arise OS

The clearest difference is update cadence: Arise OS at every 10 days against Lister's every 2 months. Arise OS also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lister ships an update every 2 months, Arise OS every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
