# Cold Case Trace vs Peeked

The clearest difference is update cadence: Peeked at every 4 days against Cold Case Trace's every 9 days. Peeked also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cold Case Trace sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Peeked sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cold Case Trace ships an update every 9 days, Peeked every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
