# Cold Case Tracer vs Peeked

The clearest difference is update cadence: Peeked at every 3 days against Cold Case Tracer's every 8 days. Peeked also leads on iOS requirement (16.4 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cold Case Tracer sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Peeked sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cold Case Tracer ships an update every 8 days, Peeked every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
