# Ritlum vs Modo

The clearest difference is ads: Ritlum at none against Modo's shown. Modo's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 days). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ritlum sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Modo sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ritlum ships an update every 5 days, Modo every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
