# Packet Planet vs Governix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Governix at every 6 days against Packet Planet's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Packet Planet sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Governix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Packet Planet ships an update every 6 weeks, Governix every 6 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
