# Oli vs Tereo

The clearest difference is ads: Tereo at none against Oli's shown. Tereo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Oli's advantage is ratings volume (132 vs 3). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Oli sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Tereo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tereo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Oli has 132 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
