# Destroy Shot vs Splash Smash

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Splash Smash at 78% against Destroy Shot's 50%. Splash Smash also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 49). Destroy Shot's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Destroy Shot sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Splash Smash sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Destroy Shot holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Splash Smash has 2.1K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Destroy Shot's written reviews are positive against 78% of Splash Smash's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Destroy Shot ships an update weekly, Splash Smash every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
